As I await the Nationwide Board’s decisions on how my candidacy will be presented to Members on the 2026 AGM voting forms, I am building out my presence on social media.
There are 16.4 million Members of Nationwide, and of those, 9.1 million eligible Members can vote in the run up to the virtual-only AGM on 15th July 2026. Voting opens when voting forms are distributed, which is expected in early/mid June.
Last year, 670,000 Members voted. I’m hoping that this year, with a choice available on the ballot, more Members can be encouraged to vote.
To do that, I need to find ways to reach 8.4 million Members who are eligible to vote, but likely didn’t vote last year. That means building awareness with people in a scaleable and cost-effective way, reaching people on their own terms, and on their chosen platforms.
I’m therefore building out – with some help from my supporters – a presence on multiple platforms.
