James’ pledge to members
I want to serve members to the best of my abilities. Above all else: I pledge to listen, to adhere to the Nolan principles, and to communicate regularly with members.
I listen
Key to learning, and to understanding other perspectives, is the ability to listen. I have always operated an ‘open door’ policy, and I will always welcome input from fellow members of the society.
I adhere to the Nolan principles
I have always admired, respected and adhered to The Seven Principles of Public Life and will continue to abide by them in my behaviour and decision making.
I communicate regularly
It is critical to communicate regularly with those you serve. If elected, I will endeavour to improve the quality and quantity of member communication.
